For some reason, the game won't properly download on my Macbook, the demo will download and expand but the actual application won't allow me to run it? Is there any reason that could be?? or is it just because my mac isn't compatible..
Are you getting an error log with RenPy? Or is the application just not opening at all?
If it won't open, that sounds like it might be your Mac's antivirus stopping the application! This is quite a common issue. Try some guides online for running RenPy games with Mac and see if that fixes it :]
I've never had a problem with most ren'py games before , so no it's not an error log and I've played a lot of visual novels, my anti-virus never really flags them as threats but it won't open at all when I click on it which is quite weird. There are some games that are just not compatible with my mac but I'm pretty sure it had a different message in those cases when i was just unable to expand the zip, I can't tell what the problem is.
Oh dear! I just had my Mac playtester install the game, and it has opened fine for them. The game may just be incompatible with your Mac, but I'd suggest first reinstalling and running the game with your antivirus disabled to see if that fixes the issue.

The second image is another game, when a game is not functionable on my mac the application itself has a gray circular cross symbol on it, while this game simply says it can't be opened and has an.. odd symbol as a placeholder for the logo
I thought this might be an issue of missing font, but I checked the code and it's in there! Not sure why the game can't read it. Judging by the squares, it may have had trouble reading the Chinese characters in the font name. The PC version of the game does not have this issue as far as I am aware. I have changed the font for Android and checked that it works! Please reinstall the game :]
The resemblance to Ren's route is definitely there, but not intentional!! Bringing in a secondary person to torture felt like a natural progression for the game. I'm glad you like it!!
love this game so much, i still play the original and the improvements is like a baby going to harvard! or however you spell it, i hope it didnt cause you art block though lol
In my opinion, this game really makes me crave more of the 'fresh start ending' bc you know... I love love good endings such as this game portrays that not all characters can change their own desires but could make it into a different aspects such as the looking like blood flower and Akano likings to the color of blood. I really liked his 'fresh start ending' haircut cuz he look cute and it also took me a while to get all of the endings! Seriously though, your game is so goodd. I want more...(I can wait :D)
I really love the game and the different endings, with each ending we kinda learn more about him and why he does what he does, why he is like this, why he enjoys it ect. Also the art is super duper awesome sauce and I could tell the effort put in this game
This was really fun and I loved the character designs! It was fun to get all endings and fill up the gallery. The art style is so unique, I absolutely love it!
An amazing revamp/sequel of the original diner game! I loved playing it when this game first dropped and again when I recently replayed it for a refresher! The art and music is beautiful and you can tell a lot of love and labor went into this game, not to mention the cheeky name and fork cameo <3
This is soooo cool!! I remember first time seeing this on 2020 with the old art style but I couldn't download it. After 5 years I'm finally able to download it!! THANK YOUUUU OMGG
I’m really not sure how I feel about this… it’s well made. The art is good. The music is good. The dialogue is all fine. It is effective horror. I feel scared. I also feel disgusted and violated but I’m not sure if it’s with purpose or not. At times this feels like someone’s pure artistic expression that’s letting them work through some really complicated feelings. If that’s the case then that’s wonderful. I’d never want to suggest that someone shouldn’t do that. At other times though this feels like shock value for the sake of itself that disregards and dismisses some really sensitive topics. I kinda feel taken advantage of, emotionally if not financially. I’m surprised by the 5 star average rating. I could see people loving this and giving it 5 stars but not without a lot of people also despising it and giving it 1 star

I see! This is quite strange. I have recompiled and uploaded a new build for Mac. There may have been some kind of corruption issue.
