The resemblance to Ren's route is definitely there, but not intentional!! Bringing in a secondary person to torture felt like a natural progression for the game. I'm glad you like it!!

In my opinion, this game really makes me crave more of the 'fresh start ending' bc you know... I love love good endings such as this game portrays that not all characters can change their own desires but could make it into a different aspects such as the looking like blood flower and Akano likings to the color of blood. I really liked his 'fresh start ending' haircut cuz he look cute and it also took me a while to get all of the endings! Seriously though, your game is so goodd. I want more...(I can wait :D)
I really love the game and the different endings, with each ending we kinda learn more about him and why he does what he does, why he is like this, why he enjoys it ect. Also the art is super duper awesome sauce and I could tell the effort put in this game

An amazing revamp/sequel of the original diner game! I loved playing it when this game first dropped and again when I recently replayed it for a refresher! The art and music is beautiful and you can tell a lot of love and labor went into this game, not to mention the cheeky name and fork cameo <3

I’m really not sure how I feel about this… it’s well made. The art is good. The music is good. The dialogue is all fine. It is effective horror. I feel scared. I also feel disgusted and violated but I’m not sure if it’s with purpose or not. At times this feels like someone’s pure artistic expression that’s letting them work through some really complicated feelings. If that’s the case then that’s wonderful. I’d never want to suggest that someone shouldn’t do that. At other times though this feels like shock value for the sake of itself that disregards and dismisses some really sensitive topics. I kinda feel taken advantage of, emotionally if not financially. I’m surprised by the 5 star average rating. I could see people loving this and giving it 5 stars but not without a lot of people also despising it and giving it 1 star

Seriously loved this whole game universe and lore from the moment I first found out about The Diner franchise as a whole. I'm seriously so happy to see that it has grown to something multiple people now enjoy. I'm going to rate the game once I get on my PC (if I haven't already), and generally hope it gets the boost it deserves. As much as I like the first game, the re-make just introduces new characters, lore, and it's overall incredibly well-made. The artstyle is also incredibly unique, with sharp characteristics yet an overall soft/ "relaxed" colour palette. The characters are fleshed out very well, and I overall love the game with my whole heart. I also like how you can technically personalize the game to your liking by inserting your name and such, really adds to the experience of the game. Keep up the great work Vin, you're awesome. I've been a fan of your work for a while (since 2020-2021 I'm pretty sure hehe) and I'm always so excited to see what ya make! to be honest, this game really inspired me to make my own novel! (it is NOTHING similar by the way.) I LOVEEE the art, visuals, and story telling. I also really love the character development compared to old Akano and the new Akano, it really shows on how you understood his character. Now he doesn't seem a yandere anymore! (Which I thought first when I played the original game, now he seems like a bloodlust waiter who wants to experience his first kill again.) I am really glad I found it through Gloom (very lucky to have your game played by Gloom.) If i am not mistaken, I am pretty sure you are making another game? If it is true, I can't wait for the new one! Even if you have less time to make it, haha.
In summary, this game is really fun to explore and defiantly worth to play. The gore did shock me though (in a good way.) I am very blessed by the "romantic" ending haha. Okay, i yapped too much. Thanks for the game!
"The diner" was literally one of the first few visual novels that I played on my channel and I was so excited to play this version! The new changes, art, and story are *chef's kiss! I also like how some things stayed the same. This is leages above the original, I really love how the whole story turned out and wouldn't mind seeing more of Akano and his adventures!
I remember playing the original game I immediately became obsessed. it’s just so nice you made a second game I love this one even more than the original and I love your art style so much you’ve improved an amazing amount thank you so much for making this and I hope you continue doing things like this because it inspires me so much.
The original diner was the very first vn I played and what got me on this site. So I'm beyond excited and I know that once I have time to play this game it will be amazing!

Also, once I got all the endings I tried naming myself Kaori, Zoe and Chris. Akano's reaction to Kaori and Zoe is funny. And Chris saying, I'm Chris too, is also quite funny.
OH MY GOD IT HAPPENED. I played the original years ago and was absolutely obsessed. I already got about 4-5 endings already and am planning on figuring out how to get the others on my own. I'm so happy! It looks amazing so far, and seeing Akano again in this art style made me so happy.

They were all amazing but the fresh start and understanding eachother endings? GOD. I could sing praises of this game for hours on end honestly. This is amazing! I'm so glad I got to see this return.
